The pleasure of Manche lies in its lush meadows and orchards, thriving hedge rows and abundant wildlife, it is an unspoilt countryside free from crowds.

Famous for its architecture, ancient churches, antique shops, (Brocantes), restuarants and local cuisine, not forgetting amazing cheeses like Camembert, Pont L'eveck, Livarot to name a few cannot exclude excellent ciders and of course the treasured Calvados, (spirit drink made from Cider).

We are situated in the middle of the Cotentin and Bessin marshlands regional National Park which covers 145,000 Hectares of land with 144 villages and towns all set within the park.Manche is also known for being the main area in Normandy for the riding horse, show jumping and trotting horses, you will feel right at home partnering with a horse travelling through this horse deep part of the country.

Utah Beach, one of our destinations, on the Eastern side of the Peninsula is not only one of the famous World War Two invasion / Landing beaches, with a fascinating museum, (www.utah-beach.com), and a glorious beach, it is set in a significantly important coastal protected area of 12,000 acres with the Beauguillot Nature Reserve / Bird sanctuary which homes a seal colony who may even join you for a swim.

As far as activites are concerned we can organise for the adventurous clay pigeon shooting, hot air ballooning, horse riding, fishing, tennis, bicycle hire, to name but a few. For those that would like a bit of a pamper perhaps a sauna / steam room, massage / beauty treatment, or for the creative painting / ceramic classes, gourmet cooking or wine tasting, just let us know in advance and we will organise for you.
