The caravan is designed to be as comfortable and as compact as possible - yet light enough for one horse to pull. It has sleeping accommodation for 4 to 5 persons. The caravan is equipped with a two ring gas cooker with grill, sink, seating, kitchen equipment to allow holiday meals to be prepared and served in the caravan. It is also equipped with bedding, ie, (Pillows, Sheets and Quilts).

In the course of an enjoyable horse-drawn caravan holiday you will envitably develop a special relationship with your horse. Your horse has been chosen for his temperament driving skills and many other qualities, before being entrusted to you. Like people, horses have personalitites, (horsealities!).

Some guests are more active, some taller and some more confident than others. This is taken into account when chosing a horse for you. You may have little experience of horses but the horse has plenty of experience with people!

The "Normandy Cob", ("Cob Normand"), well-known world wide for their docile and gentle temperaments, a versatile and classy horse with great presence and a friendly personality, which makes this an ideal breed for horse-drawn caravans. They have been used in past years for agricultural work but are now mostly driving and riding horses.

Our experience with the "Cob Normand" has surpassed our expectations. We have known many breeds of horses, but these gentle souls have stolen our hearts, we believe after spending some time with these noble horses you will undoutedly feel the same way.
